SONAM faculty trained healthcare professionals from different hospitals and healthcare institutions in Karachi on advanced concepts in managing patients in critical care setting.
A series of workshops was held at the Aga Khan University on June 12 and 13, 2019 facilitated by senior instructors Ms Laila Akber Cassum and Ms Shaista Meghani, and clinical preceptor Ms Anny Amir Ali to build participants’ understanding on advanced critical care nursing concepts including hemodynamic management, airway and ventilator care management, ECG and arrhythmias management, chest x-ray and ABGs interpretation. A total of 22 participants were engaged in these interactive and activity-based sessions.
